FAQ

What is Ozone?

Ozone is an unstable gas consisting of three oxygen atoms. It is a very high energy form of oxygen (O2) in the diatomic atmosphere.
The formation of ozone gas in nature is caused by ultraviolet rays coming from the sun breaking down the oxygen in the atmosphere or lightning breaking down the oxygen. As ozone gas is heavier than air, it descends to the earth and cleans the air in a natural way. Especially on rainy or stormy days, the smell that we feel is the most intense form of ozone on earth.
Ozone gas oxidation is very high and known to be the most powerful disinfectant and does not leave any harmful residue to the human body compared to other disinfection methods have been used widely in recent years.
Ozone, which is very effective against micro organisms, has limited effect as life forms grow.
On humans and animals, the harmful effect is not within the limits of the FDA (0.1 PPM ratio is required). Ozone has no harmful effects on plants.
Ozone gas is much more powerful than other disinfectant methods. Ozone breaks down the cell walls of organisms and has a destructive effect on all known viruses, bacteria, fungi, yeasts and molds.

Are any chemicals used to produce ozone with the ozone generator?

No, the ozone generator is not chemical. It produces ozone in a natural way. The oxygen molecules in the air are separated from each other by using electricity and soon after, ozone molecules are formed. However, since these ozone molecules are formed with a weak bond, they break down the odor molecules and then turn back to oxygen.

How to use the Ozone Generator?

Close all doors and windows. Plug in the device, set the application time. After you start the device, immediately leave the environment. Make sure that the treated environment is unoccupied and that there are no human pets, plants inside.

How soon does it disinfect?

This application depends on the size of the environment and the level of smell inside. The recommended application time for the in-car is 10 minutes. The larger the area, the longer the application time. However, if the desired result is not obtained at the end of the application, you can repeat the application by extending the time.

Does the ozone generator need maintenance?

No maintenance at all.

Is there a part that often breaks down?

The high voltage generating ceramic material, which we call ozone generator, has a working life of 2,000 hours. After this time, only the ceramic material is changed and your machine is renewed.

Are there any consumables?

No consumables. The device uses only 220V electricity when producing ozone.

Is the ozone device harmful?

There is no harm as long as it is not inhaled directly and is not present in the environment when the device is operated, as long as it is used in accordance with the instruction manual.

How long is the lifetime of the device?

The device produces an average of 2,000 hours of ozone.

Is there any harm if ozone inhaled directly?

If ozone is inhaled for a long time, it may cause irritation to mucous tissues such as nose, nasal, eye, lungs in humans and animals. Therefore, during the operation of the ozone generator, the environment should be unoccupied.

What should I do after application is completed?

After the application is completed, do not enter the room and wait at least one hour. After an hour, open all windows and ventilate for at least 15 minutes.

Does the environment smell good after ozone application?

The ozone generator breaks down bad odor molecules and purifies the environment. In fact, it makes the environment odors neutral. Ozone odor remains for a while but this odor disappears over time. It should not be forgotten that the ozone device helps to get rid of the bad odors in the environment, not to smell good.

Is it suitable to use the ozone generator when the air conditioner is on?

Yes, if the air conditioner is on during ozone application, it helps to eliminate the bad odor molecules in the air conditioner.

Is Ozone effective on Viruses?

Viruses are small, independent particles, built of crystals and macromolecules. Unlike bacteria, they multiply only within the host cell. Ozone destroys viruses by diffusing through the protein coat into the nucleic acid core, resulting in damage of the viral RNA. At higher concentrations, ozone destroys the capsid or exterior protein shell by oxidation.

Is Ozone effective on Bacteria?

Bacteria are microscopically small single-cell creatures having a primitive structure. They take up foodstuffs and release metabolic products, and multiply by division. The bacteria body is sealed by a relatively solid cell membrane. Their vital processes are controlled by a complex enzymatic system. Ozone interferes with the metabolism of bacterium cells, most likely through inhibiting and blocking the operation of the enzymatic control system. A sufficient amount of ozone breaks through the cell membrane, and this leads to the destruction of the bacteria.

Is Ozone effective on Fungi?

Fungi families inhibited and destroyed by exposure to ozone include Candida, Aspergilus, Histoplasma, Actinomycoses, and Cryptococcus. The walls of fungi are multilayered and re composed of approximately 80% carbohydrates and 10% of proteins and glycoproteins. The presence of many disulfide bonds had been noted, making this a possible site for oxidative inactivation by ozone.
